It is an isomer with lutein and is a type of oxygen-containing carotenoid (Xanthophyll). Most zeaxanthin found in nature are all-trans isomers (AlLE-ISo-Mer). This product is a molecular formula C40H56O2 with a molecular weight of 568.85 isoprene.
