Zeaxanthin, also known as Zeaxanthin, is a new type of oil-soluble natural pigment that is commonly found in green leafy vegetables, flowers, fruits, Chinese wolfberry, and yellow corn. It is an oxygen-containing carotenoid that is isomeric with lutein. Most zeaxanthin in nature exists as all-trans isomers and often coexists with lutein, β-carotene, and cryptoxanthin to create carotenoid mixtures.
